As the title suggests, SQL Server Interview Questions And Answers is an extensive collection of potential interview questions related to the SQL Server, and their correct answers.

In SQL Server Interview Questions And Answers, Pinal Dave and Vinod Kumar have compiled and curated a huge collection of questions and answers related to the SQL Server.

Good grades are nowhere enough to land good jobs in the IT industry, which is a competitive field in an equally competitive era. Candidates are expected to be well-versed in the basic or ‘key’ concepts of their respective fields and areas of study, during their interview. This book could prove to be helpful to such candidates, who are interested in learning or re-learning the aforementioned key concepts.

SQL Server Interview Questions and Answers begins with an introduction to database concepts that are related to the SQL Server. Some generic questions that are asked during such interviews are provided in the second section. Developer questions that are commonly asked are given in the third section, which is followed by a section that features the tricky questions that are often asked.

The book then takes readers through the questions that are asked on the 2008 version of the SQL Server. Questions related to DBA (Database Administration) skills and Data Warehousing are covered in the subsequent chapters. The last chapter is titled General Best Practices.

This book is tailor-made for candidates who seek information about the SQL Server-related questions that they can expect from interviewers. It not only covers such potential questions, but their correct answers as well.

The book is a culmination of years of work, and it is mainly popular because interviewers and even candidates who have attended such interviews contribute their experiences and help the authors keep the text updated constantly.
